How is Eco Disc environmentally friendly?
A standard DVD is composed of two bonded layers of plastic, whereas an EcoDisc DVD is made up of a single layer of plastic.  Therefore, EcoDisc DVD is thinner and lighter because it only uses half the material and thus 50% less energy is used in production and EcoDisc production emits 52% less carbon dixoide (CO₂).  In addition, no toxic bonder is needed to glue two layers of plastic together so the EcoDisc is coompletely recyclable.  Finally, the reduced weight of the Eco Disc DVD means that the CO₂ emissions of shipping and transportations are greatly reduced.

Can the EcoDisc DVD be played on conventional DVD players & computers?
Yes - the EcoDisc DVD can be played on all conventional DVD and Blu-Ray players/recorders.  EcoDisc can also be played in computer drives (PC&MAC), home AV and in-car entertainment equipment.

Can my artwork/branding be printed onto the EcoDisc, like normal DVD's?
Yes - EcoDisc DVD is the same size as a conventional DVD5 and can be printed with professional silk-screen print.  Please contact us to request templates and artwork gudelines.
